Planetary Positions · Noon UTC
The headline today is Venus retrograde closing on her square to Pluto, with less than a degree between them. Venus is already compromised: retrograde, in detriment in Scorpio, and combust the Sun. A square to Pluto from that position is not subtle. Something about value, attachment, or desire gets pressed on, and Venus has few resources with which to answer. The separating sextile to Lilith is the small mercy, a side door, a way of saying what has usually gone unsaid. I would not expect it to resolve the Pluto matter, only to let a sentence out.
The Sun in Libra is in fall but holds mutual reception by exaltation with Saturn in Aries, who is likewise in fall. This is one of those receptions I find genuinely useful: two weakened planets propping each other up by agreement. It will not make either of them strong, but it stabilises the Libra-Aries axis in a way the dignities alone would not suggest. The Sun's applying trine to the North Node sits inside that stabilisation. Direction is available if you want it.
Mars in Leo trine Saturn is already separating, and Saturn is received by Mars in domicile, which further softens an aspect that was never harsh to begin with. Useful for finishing something begun earlier in the week.
The Moon ingressed Aquarius before dawn UTC and spends the day in the Ox mansion, favourable for trade and patient work, which pairs oddly well with the Venus-Pluto pressure: the mansion wants steadiness, Venus wants to tear something down. Early hours carry a separating conjunction to Pluto and a tight trine to Uranus, so the emotional tone shifts quickly and then settles.
Neptune square Lilith is in the background. I'll note it and move on. The day belongs to Venus and what she cannot quite say to Pluto.
