Venus retrograde in Scorpio, already in detriment and now under the Sun's beams, is tightening a square to Pluto within a degree. This is the day's center of gravity. Venus here is not subtle to begin with, and Pluto refuses to let her be approximate. Expect the retrograde review to turn forensic: a value, a relationship, a financial arrangement that has been quietly souring gets dragged into stronger light. The separating sextile to Lilith gives Venus somewhere to stand while she takes the hit, but it does not blunt the square.
Against that, Mars in Leo trines Saturn in Aries, and because Mars rules the sign Saturn sits in, the reception does real work. Saturn is in fall, yes, but Mars is holding him by the collar. Disciplined action lands well today, especially the kind that requires sustained physical effort or structural follow-through. I'd lean on this aspect for anything the Venus square is making you want to avoid.
The Sun in Libra is in fall but in mutual reception with Saturn by exaltation, which I keep finding more interesting the longer this Libra season runs. The two weakened planets prop each other up by agreement. The Sun's separating sextile to Jupiter, with Jupiter received, extends that cooperative tone to matters of judgment and scale. And the Sun is on Arcturus within two-thirds of a degree: guardianship through steady work, the reward that comes from watching over something rather than seizing it.
The Moon is in Capricorn in detriment, in the Dipper mansion, which concerns measurement, law, and officials. A fitting backdrop for a Venus-Pluto day: the sky is quite literally weighing something.
The nodes are stationary on the Leo-Aquarius axis. I would not build a reading around it, but it is worth noting that the karmic axis is holding still while Venus does her excavating.
