Mars just left its sextile to Uranus and is still pulling away from the opposition to Pluto, which gives today a particular restlessness: the clever opening is already behind us, but the pressure, the oppositional grind, hasn't finished with us yet. Mars in Leo wants a stage; Pluto in Aquarius wants the stage dismantled. If you felt a flash of rightness a day or two ago and then found yourself hitting a wall, that's the sequence. The wall isn't new information. It's the same configuration finishing its sentence.
Mercury and Venus are conjunct in Scorpio, Venus retrograde and in her detriment, so the conversations happening under this pairing have a backward-looking quality: returning to something unresolved, saying the thing that didn't get said. I'd ordinarily be more suspicious of Venus in Scorpio retrograde, but with Mercury right there, the words at least get out. Whether they land well is another matter.
The Sun opposes Saturn, both weakened by fall, but the exaltation reception between them does real work here. They borrow each other's authority. The day's frustrations, which will feel like old authority figures or old limits reasserting themselves, actually have more structural coherence than the raw dignities would suggest. This is the sort of case I keep returning to: reception can rescue a configuration the textbooks would write off. Not fully. But meaningfully.
Moon in Virgo moves through the Wings mansion, a mansion of travel and venturing out, which sits oddly against a Virgo Moon's preference for the known desk and the known list. Take it as the small tension it is.
Neptune square Lilith continues in the background, and Neptune's sextile to Pluto hums along underneath everything without asking much of us today. The waning crescent thins toward the coming new moon. Most of what's loud today is finishing, not starting.
