The Sun has just crossed into Libra, where it sits in fall, and immediately picks up two aspects that pull in opposite directions. The applying square to Lilith is tight, half a degree, and the opposition to Neptune widens the same axis: something you can't quite name is pressing on whatever you're trying to decide or declare. What partially rescues the Sun is its mutual reception with Saturn by exaltation. Saturn is itself in fall in Aries and moving faster than usual, but the two weakened planets are holding each other up, each borrowing the other's exalted seat. It's a strange arrangement, two invalids propping each other in a doorway, and yet it works. The applying trine from Sun to Pluto in Aquarius adds real structural support underneath, so the day is less fragile than the fall placement alone would suggest.

I want to revise something. When I called the Sun-Neptune "something you can't quite name," that undersells it. With Neptune also square Lilith in the background, the fog has a specific shape: it's the shape of what you've been refusing to look at directly. Not mysterious. Avoided.

Mercury separating from a sextile to Jupiter means the useful conversation likely happened yesterday or this morning early; what remains is follow-through. Mars in fall in Cancer I'll leave mostly alone, it's a slow ache in the background of the week.

The Moon runs through Aquarius all day in the Emptiness mansion, which is a mansion for memorials, withdrawal, funerary observance. Paired with the South Node still sitting on Regulus, the day has a distinctly valedictory quality around Leonine things: authority you once held, attention you once wanted. The Moon's separating opposition to Jupiter in Leo underlines it once more before releasing.

A day for endings observed properly, under a Sun that can barely see itself.
