Planetary Positions · Noon UTC
Mercury just past its opposition to Neptune and still holding a trine to Pluto: two threads on the same wire. The Neptune contact is the kind of thing where a conversation from yesterday or this morning turns out to have been slipperier than it seemed, someone half-listening, someone half-truthing, and now the residue. The Pluto trine is the counterweight, a private clarity that arrives quietly and lets you name what actually happened. Mercury is under the beams and not at full strength, so I would trust the Pluto insight but not rush to broadcast it.
Venus in Scorpio, in her detriment, is applying to square Pluto while separating from a trine to the North Node. The trine is the softer of the two and mostly spent; what remains active is the square, and in Scorpio Venus does not soften it. Expect a relational or financial pressure that wants a decision rather than a conversation. She is out of dignity and there is no receiving planet to catch her, which is why I would not treat this as productive intensity so much as friction looking for a target.
The Sun and Mars are in a close applying sextile, and Mars sits exactly on Castor. Mars is in fall in Cancer, which usually mutes him, but Castor lends eloquence and quickness, so the fall reads less as weakness today and more as indirection. Words as the weapon, or the tool. Reconsidering what I said about Venus: the Sun-Mars sextile may actually give her square somewhere useful to discharge, if there is a physical or verbal outlet ready.
Moon in Libra through the Chariot mansion, trine Uranus earlier and drifting off an opposition to Neptune. Neptune and Pluto are within a hair of exact sextile in the background, which I will note and leave there.
