Planetary Positions · Noon UTC
Mercury at home in Virgo has just squared Lilith and now pulls toward its opposition with Neptune, which is the aspect I want you to feel today. The square is separating, so whatever sharp thing was said or noticed yesterday has already been said. What comes next is subtler: a domiciled, fast-moving Mercury trying to hold its own against a stationed-slow Neptune in Aries. Mercury has the dignity, Neptune has the fog. In practice this reads as a clear thinker mildly mistrusting their own clarity, or a precise message landing in a listener who hears something else entirely. Give the misunderstanding a day before you correct it.
Venus, meanwhile, has just crossed into Scorpio, where she operates in detriment. She's trining the North Node from that uncomfortable seat, so the day may bring a connection or a small yes that feels correct in direction even while the medium of it, the actual conversation or exchange, is thornier than you'd like. Detriment doesn't mean bad. It means she's working without her usual tools.
Mars in fall in Cancer and Saturn in fall retrograde in Aries: two malefics both debilitated is worth naming, though neither is throwing an aspect that concerns today specifically. It's more that the muscle and the discipline of the chart are both a little compromised this week. Do less; expect less follow-through from others.
The Moon is combust in Virgo, in the Bow mansion, conjunct the Sun by nine degrees and invisible. The mansion favors feasting and reward, but a combust Virgo Moon is not really in the mood. Small private pleasures over gatherings.
The Neptune-Pluto sextile is exact to a tenth of a degree in the background and I've written about it enough this season. The Regulus contact on the descending Node I'll come back to when the Moon activates it.
