Venus approaching North Node in Aquarius · North Node sextile Lilith in Sagittarius

Three domiciled planets today: Moon in Cancer, Mercury in Virgo, Venus in Libra. That alone would make a workable day, each doing its own job without borrowing. It's a small thing to notice but a real one, since we don't get it often.

The headline is Venus applying to trine the North Node from late Libra. Venus at home, reaching toward the node of collective direction, with a background sextile from Lilith tightening the node further: agreements, aesthetic choices, gestures of preference that carry more forward-weight than they seem to. Venus in her own sign doesn't need to be flattered into cooperating. She simply acts.

Meanwhile the South Node is sitting on Regulus, within half a degree. I want to be careful here because the nodes are slow and Regulus is where Regulus always is, but the axis is at 29 degrees and voiding out shortly, so this is the last pass. Regulus on the releasing node is the classical warning about pride and the fall from height, and I'd read it as a quiet undertone rather than a thunderclap: something lion-shaped is being let go of, or should be.

Moon in Cancer in the Well mansion, domiciled, is the emotional water table for all this, though she's just separated from a square to Saturn in Aries, which is itself in fall and retrograde. A few hours of residual heaviness in the morning, nothing structural. Mars is also in fall in Cancer, which I keep meaning to weight more heavily and keep finding doesn't bite the way it should on paper; the Moon's rulership seems to blanket it.

Jupiter and Saturn are still in trine in the background, separating now. And Mercury is under the beams but moving fast, which is the kind of contradiction I'll let stand rather than resolve.
