Planetary Positions · Noon UTC
The headline today is Venus opposing Saturn from Libra to Aries, and it is not the ugly opposition you might expect. Venus is at home; Saturn is in fall and receives her by exaltation. So the elder planet, weakened in Aries, still reaches toward Venus with a kind of deference — the reception carries more weight than the opposition. Something that looks like refusal, delay, or a cold answer today is more likely a request for terms. Negotiate; don't retreat. The Room mansion, useful for exactly this kind of domestic or contractual back-and-forth, reinforces the point.
Alongside that, Venus is separating from a sextile to Jupiter, which is why the Saturn business does not feel dire — there's a recent easiness in the air that hasn't quite dissipated. And Mars, in fall in Cancer but received by the Moon in Scorpio (which he receives in turn), is separating from a square to Neptune. That square was the fog of the last few days; it's lifting. The mutual reception between Moon and Mars is doing real work here — two planets in fall propping each other up by sitting in each other's houses. Not elegant, but functional.
The Sun opposes the nodal axis with the South Node combust and sitting almost exactly on Regulus. I'd take that seriously: Regulus rewards a certain kind of restraint, and punishes the opposite. Something offered as recognition today may be the kind of offer one should decline, or at least not grip. That is the note I'd hold longest.
The Sun's applying trine to Lilith I mention because it's exact within half a degree, though I'd rather not overread it — call it a permission to speak from the less diplomatic part of oneself, briefly. Outer planets are sextiling and trining each other in the background; they will keep doing so for weeks.
