Mercury conjunction Jupiter in Leo · Mars square Neptune ℞ in Aries

Mercury has just pulled off Jupiter and both are still under the Sun's beams — the meeting happened in a whisper, not a speech. What's more legible today is Mercury moving fast into trine with Saturn retrograde in Aries. Saturn is in fall there and I don't want to oversell the aspect, but even a weakened Saturn accepts a sextile-and-trine from a swift Mercury in Leo gracefully; you can think in structured lines today, and a document drafted now will hold. Whatever Mercury and Jupiter said to each other privately will surface over the next day or two.

The louder problem is Mars in Cancer, in fall, applying to a square with Neptune retrograde in Aries. Mars here can barely find its feet, and Neptune dissolves what little traction it has. Expect anger to arrive dampened, sideways, or as fatigue; expect physical effort to cost more than it should. I would not schedule anything requiring stamina or clean confrontation.

Venus at home in Libra applying to sextile Jupiter is the day's genuine sweetness, and I'd usually leave it there — except Venus is also within a degree of Vindemiatrix, the Grape Gatherer, which sours the picture. Something is being harvested and something is being mourned in the same gesture. A relationship gain that arrives with an ending inside it. Take the sextile; notice the star.

Moon in Libra in the Horn mansion — the mansion of beginnings, well-suited to planting — has already cleared its opposition to Saturn and swept the Mercury and Jupiter sextiles. By the time most of you read this the Moon is quiet and waxing.
