Mercury has just pulled off Pluto and is still humming with Neptune — the intellect coming out of a hard interrogation into something dreamier, more forgiving. That opposition to Pluto was yesterday's argument, the one where someone spoke too plainly; the trine to Neptune is the softening afterward, and the sextile to Uranus gives it somewhere useful to go. If you've been chewing on a conversation, today it thinks itself out.

Venus is the more interesting figure. She is at home in Libra, which means everything she touches she touches with full authority — and she is touching Uranus by trine and Neptune by opposition in the same breath. The trine has already perfected and is walking away; the opposition is still closing on the ear. So: an unexpected pleasure, then a haze. A meeting that goes better than expected but leaves you unsure what was actually agreed. I would not sign anything today that depends on Venus's testimony alone, domicile or no domicile.

The Moon is combust in Leo, in the Willow mansion, and separating from a trine to Saturn in its fall. This is a strange mix. Willow's melancholy under a Leo Sun that outshines its own Moon — a day that looks bright and feels quieter than it looks. The trine to Saturn is real but weak on both ends; Saturn retrograde in Aries cannot offer much structure, only the memory of it.

And the South Node sits on Regulus, under the beams. I want to be careful here, because Regulus on the Node is the classic warning about pride and the fall that follows it, and I have written that sentence too many times to write it lightly. Today I'll say only that whatever royal gesture you're tempted toward, the star is on the wrong end of the axis for it.

Jupiter fast and hidden in the Sun's light — moving, but not yet visible.
