Mercury has just closed its opposition to Pluto and is still inside the applying orb — a conversation you can't quite drop, or someone else won't. The same axis Venus was working a few days ago, though her opposition to Neptune is now separating and her trines to Uranus and Pluto tilt the feel toward something more workable. Venus is in her own sign, which does most of the heavy lifting here: even when she's talking to difficult planets, she's talking on her own terms. Libra Venus opposed to Aries Neptune in fall — an idealization that dissolves rather than wounds. The trine to Uranus in Gemini gives her an out, a lighter register to move into.

Mercury applying to trine Neptune in the same hours he opposes Pluto is the more interesting figure. Investigative clarity and imaginative drift arriving together. I'd normally read the Pluto contact as the louder note, but Mercury is fast and dignified enough in Leo — well, dignified isn't quite right, Mercury has no essential dignity in Leo, but he's cazimi-adjacent country here, moving quickly and lit up by the Sun's rulership. He'll clear the Pluto orb faster than it feels.

The South Node is sitting on Regulus, within half a degree, and about to leave Leo entirely for good. Whatever royal-Leo pattern you've been shedding across this nodal transit — pride, performance, the demand to be seen as the center — this is the last of it. Regulus's old warning about the fall following pride reads here less as threat and more as farewell.

Moon crosses into Leo mid-morning UTC, joining Mercury and Jupiter (Jupiter still under the beams, so quieter than his position suggests), through the Ghost mansion — ancestors, endings, the closing of accounts. Fitting, on the day the Node finally exits the Lion.

Mars in fall in Cancer keeps struggling in the background. Saturn retrograde in Aries likewise. Neither is today's story, but both are the weather underneath it.
