Venus opposition Neptune ℞ in Aries · Mercury approaching Pluto ℞ in Aquarius

Venus in Libra opposing Neptune is the piece I want to start with, because Venus is in her own sign and Neptune is retrograde and in Saturn's fall — which is to say, the confusion belongs to the Neptune side of the axis, not to Venus. What you're likely to feel is Venus at full strength being asked to make sense of something dissolving or misrepresented in a relationship, a contract, an aesthetic decision. Because the opposition is already separating, the clarifying has mostly happened; today is the sorting-out. And Venus is simultaneously trine Pluto and applying to trine Uranus, both from her own domicile — so whatever gets said or seen has real leverage behind it. This is a strong Venus day, despite the Neptune noise.

Mercury just into Leo and applying to oppose Pluto retrograde is the other live wire. Expect a conversation or piece of information that carries more weight than its surface suggests — someone probing, or being probed. Not sinister; investigatory.

Mars at the very end of Gemini, fast, trine the North Node and sitting on Betelgeuse — I'd normally be cautious about naming a fixed star this prominent, but the combination is coherent: a martial push toward something the nodal axis wants, with the flavor of earned advancement rather than lucky break. Mars leaves Gemini shortly, so this is a last-degree effort.

The Moon is in Cancer in her own domicile, in the Well mansion, waning to almost nothing before the coming new moon. She squares Saturn in fall in Aries for a few hours — an irritation more than an obstacle, since Saturn can't press hard from that condition.

Saturn's weakness is worth restating, actually. A lot of what would ordinarily feel like structural resistance this week simply isn't landing with its usual weight. That changes the tenor of the Mercury-Pluto and even the Venus-Neptune considerably.

Background Uranus-Neptune-Pluto sextiles and trines continue humming. Nothing to report there today.
