Today's headline is Lilith, twice pressed. Venus in Virgo — already in fall, already unable to speak in her own accent — is separating from a square to Lilith, and Mars in Gemini is applying to the opposition. Venus's version of the fight is finished or nearly so; Mars's is still gathering. What this looks like in practice: something a woman, or something Venusian — an aesthetic judgment, a relational boundary, a matter of taste — was pushed against yesterday and is now being answered from the Mars side with more heat than the original provocation warranted. Mars is moving fast, which sharpens this. Gemini gives him words rather than fists, but the words will be pointed.

The Sun and Jupiter are still within orb of their conjunction in Leo, and I want to be careful here. Jupiter is combust, which classically ruins him, but he is in the Sun's own sign and received by his host — so the Sun is burning up a guest he actually welcomes. That's a very different flavor than combustion in a neutral sign. Read it as a benefic muted rather than destroyed. Any Jupiter significations today — teachers, foreigners, matters of law or largesse — arrive dimmed but not poisoned.

The South Node sits on Regulus at the very end of Leo. I'd rather not make weather of this every day it happens, but with the Sun and Jupiter both in Leo it becomes harder to ignore: something about Leonine authority is being released rather than accumulated this month, and pride is the specific liability.

Moon in Pisces through the Encampment mansion until evening, when she enters Aries and immediately picks up the fall of Saturn there. A good afternoon for shelter and settling in; the evening turns brittle.
