The Sun has just entered Leo and immediately runs into two things at once: it is closing to opposition with Pluto in Aquarius, and it is closing to conjunction with Jupiter in its own sign. That's the shape of the day. A Sun freshly domiciled, holding court, but pressed on one side by an underworld voice it can't quite drown out, and accompanied on the other by a Jupiter that is technically combust — swallowed by the light — yet received by that same Sun into domicile. Reception matters here. The Sun is not destroying Jupiter; it is hosting him. Jupiter is diminished in visibility but not in kind. What looks like inflation from the outside may actually be a hospitable exchange, benefic material still doing benefic work, just from behind the glare.

The Pluto opposition, though, I'd take seriously. It isn't background — it's applying, and the South Node sits exactly on Regulus. Royal star, well-known warning: the fall follows the pride. If something in your life has been running on borrowed authority, that's the pressure point.

Mars in Gemini sextiles Saturn in Aries, separating, and Saturn — in fall — is received by Mars in domicile. Ordinarily I'd say a sextile to a fallen Saturn is thin gruel, but the reception genuinely does soften it; Mars is holding Saturn up. Mercury stationing retrograde and squaring that same Saturn is the harder note, and it's the one that will linger past today.

The Moon is in Scorpio, in fall, in the Room mansion — a mansion traditionally good for domestic matters and negotiations, which is a strange fit for a fallen Moon sitting with Agena. Honour through hardship, the old texts say of that star. Take it as texture rather than headline.

The outer planets are doing their long slow chord behind everything. I'll leave them there.
