Venus opposition North Node ℞ in Pisces · Venus approaching Uranus in Gemini

Venus in Virgo is having a rough day, and this is where I'd start. She's in fall to begin with — Virgo gives her nothing to work with, no warmth, no ornament, only ledger-keeping — and today she's separating from an opposition to the North Node and applying to a square with Uranus. The nodal opposition is the residue: some relational or aesthetic choice from the last few days that pulled against where things are actually going. The Uranus square is the live wire, tightening over the next three days. Something in the Venusian department — a partnership, a purchase, a stylistic commitment — wants to break its own frame. Because Venus is debilitated, she doesn't have the strength to redirect the disruption gracefully; she tends to just absorb it.

Meanwhile Mercury retrograde and combust in Cancer is not doing anyone favors, but the Moon-Mercury mutual reception by domicile softens it more than you'd expect. The Moon in Gemini is in Mercury's house; Mercury in Cancer is in the Moon's. They cover for each other. Communication feels indirect, moody, but it isn't actually broken — it's just routed through feeling rather than logic. Worth remembering before assuming a conversation went sideways.

Mars in Gemini is fast and sitting right on Aldebaran. The Watcher star rewards integrity and punishes the broken word; with Mars quick and sharp-tongued in Gemini, mind what you promise today. The Moon passed over Mars a couple hours ago, so there may already be evidence of this by the time you read it.

Net mansion — rain and capture, abundance from effort — fits the Mars-Aldebaran note better than it fits the Venus trouble. Two different weathers in one sky.
