Regulus complicates this. Sitting on the Lion's Heart, Venus is offered a moment of visibility or acclaim, but Regulus rewards magnanimity and punishes pride, and Venus in fall is not in a strong position to be gracious. Something that looks like a win could carry a cost that shows up later.
