The headline today is the Sun-Saturn square, separating by a degree, and I want to note straight off that Saturn is in fall in Aries and simultaneously received by the Sun through exaltation. That reception matters. It doesn't dissolve the friction — the square still bites, and the past three days will have shown you where — but it means the Sun is holding Saturn's collar. Whatever institutional or paternal or structural pressure came through this window arrived softened by a kind of dignified courtesy. Not gentle. Courteous.

The Moon is in Aries in the Legs mansion, conjunct that same fallen Saturn for the morning hours — so the day begins with a weight the Moon can't quite shake off, and then walks out from under it. Legs is a mansion of movement and writing, of things setting off; take that literally if you have letters to send or trips to begin.

Mars in Gemini is doing most of the interesting work. Fast, freshly past Uranus, and trining Pluto while sextiling the stationary Neptune — that's a wide, capable configuration, and Mars is the one planet today acting without impediment. If something needs decisive movement, Mars is where the current runs. Neptune stationing in Aries under Mars's sextile is worth naming: dreams and dissolutions are unusually loud right now, though I'd caution against reading prophetic weight into every drift.

Venus applying to oppose the North Node from late Leo is the quieter irritation — a relational pull against where the collective is trying to go. And the South Node sits on Regulus, which I take as a warning about clinging to a former throne. Let the honor go where it's going.

Mercury retrograde under the beams, conjunct Pollux: bold retrograde thinking, but hidden by sunlight. Speak carefully; you're not being heard the way you think.
