Planetary Positions · Noon UTC
Mars is the day's pivot, and Mars is not having an easy time of it. Already in detriment in Taurus, acting against its grain, it now sits within a degree of the Pleiades while squaring the North Node and applying to Uranus. The exact sextile to Jupiter — Jupiter exalted in Cancer, no less — is just past, which means the help has been offered and is already withdrawing. What's left is the friction: an impulse to break forward (Uranus) that pulls against the soul-direction the nodal axis is asking for, and the Pleiades adding that old, particular flavour of ambition met by circumstance rather than by failure. Not punishment. Just the wrong moment, or the right moment for something smaller than you wanted.
I want to revise that slightly. The Jupiter sextile is separating but tight — a tenth of a degree — so the support isn't gone, it's just no longer arriving fresh. If you acted on something in the last few days, it's still carrying you.
Mercury is stationary on Procyon, received by Jupiter through exaltation, which softens the usual warning about Procyon's premature-success problem. Stationary Mercury asks you to reread rather than send; the reception means whatever you do send will land in friendlier hands than it deserves. Take the gift.
The Sun's square to Neptune is separating and I'd leave it alone except that it colours the Cancer stellium with a faint fog — clarity about feeling is harder than usual this week.
Moon in Sagittarius all day in the Tail mansion, in mutual reception with that exalted Jupiter, conjunct Lilith in the morning hours. The mansion is one of endings, and the reception lends the Moon real authority to close things. Sagittarius Moon with Lilith close by will not close them gently. That may be the point.
Pluto and Neptune are doing their slow background work. Nothing to add today.
