The Sun has just stepped into Cancer and is already throwing a trine to the North Node in Pisces — a soft, watery handshake at the solstice, less dramatic than ingresses sometimes are but genuinely directional. Take it as the keynote: something about the season ahead aligns with where the collective is meant to be drifting, and you don't have to push to feel it.

The headline aspect is Mercury closing toward Jupiter in Cancer, and the reception matters here more than the conjunction itself. Mercury is received by Jupiter — exalted, fast-moving, generous — so the usual cautions about Mercury-Jupiter (overpromising, sprawling, the deal that sounds better than it reads) are softened. Mercury is also sitting right on Pollux, which I'd ordinarily treat warily, but in this context the audacity reads more as nerve than recklessness. A bold word, said well, lands.

Worth noting that Mercury in Cancer is in mutual reception with the Moon in Virgo, so even the quieter mental work of the day — sorting, drafting, replying — has unusual traction. The Moon also catches a separating trine to Mars and a sextile to Jupiter before shifting into Libra late in the day (UTC). Mars in Taurus is in detriment but moving fast and sextiling Jupiter, which I read as friction that's at least productive — you'll feel the grain of the wood, but the cut goes through.

Venus opposing Pluto is separating and I won't dwell on it; whatever that was, it's receding. Saturn in fall in Aries continues to be Saturn in fall in Aries. The Uranus-Node square is background noise this week.

The Moon is in the Wings mansion — travel, ventures outward, the wind under something. Paired with a Cancer-season opening and a Mercury-Jupiter conjunction received by exaltation, the day tilts toward motion of the useful kind. Going somewhere, even if only in correspondence.
